IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

August 22, 2021

Dear Vision Team Members,

Since the COVID pandemic began changing the way we live, Vision School System has worked tirelessly to help ensure the safety of those who have placed their trust in us. From leading the way in infection mitigation to providing and encouraging receipt of the vaccine, we have been steadfast in our commitment to the health of our students and team.

We want to let you know that after weeks of discussion with our institution COVID task force, we have made a collective decision that as a condition of employment and enrollment, all Vision Team members and students will be required to wear masks while on campus. Also, you are encouraged to get fully vaccinated against COVID.

Please note that we will consider exemptions for those who cite religious or medical reasons for not taking the vaccine, and forms will be made available for those individuals to complete.

However, for the past year and a half, many of you have shown great courage and resilience in helping to keep the Vision School System safe. Our gratitude is ongoing, and we hope you will join us in welcoming this opportunity to protect your own health and the health of those we serve.

Thank you,
The Board of Trustees, VSS.

VISION SCHOOL SYSTEM LAUNCHED ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MEN’S SOCCER AND WOMAN’S KICKBALL IN GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA.

Vision School System Athletic Scholarships (VSSAS) are available for men’s soccer and woman’s kickball at our high school, vocational school, and college levels. Getting an athletic scholarship is an incredible opportunity for student-athlete to finance their education while continuing to compete after high school.

At Vision, our Scholarships are given to athletes who have demonstrated that they have the potential to compete at the highest level. They can cover part—or all—of a student-athlete’s tuition.

Vision School System scholarships are one-year agreements that must be renewed each year. For most Vision schools, a scholarship offer does not become official until a student-athlete sign the Vision Letter of Intent (VLI). Of course, student-athletes first have to go through the recruiting process to secure their roster spot and get an athletic scholarship.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

July 20, 2021

Good News! Good News!

Today, July 20, 2021, the Board of Trustees of the Vision School System appointed me to serve as Acting President of the Vision College and continue working as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. I am so excited and willing to help develop education in my birthplace, Grand Bassa County.

This is a position that I vacated in 2019 due to my participation in the past 2020 election. The Vision School System closed its college program in Grand Bassa County temporarily and paid its employees for two months each due to the COVID-19.

As a President, I have a goal to ensure that the Vision College gains its institution accreditation and helps in complementing the efforts of the Grand Bassa Community College/University. COVID-19 is dangerous, and we need to follow all health protocols from the Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia.

From research, Grand Bassa County is leaving behind in education and training, and we must design the right strategy that will help enhance the delivery procedure.

Thank you for reposing confidence in me as your Acting President, Vision College. It is good to be back in my previous role, and I am humbled in the spirit to serve each of you once more.

I want to take this time to thank the former president, Mrs. Helena Chilla for laboring tirelessly to keep the college alive. We will work from where she stopped and network with other higher institutions in the country. We will help formulate the proper human resources to gain success. To our former employees, I adore you so much and it is time to work hard than ever before.

Finally, we can only accomplish all of this if we work together as a team.

Best regards,

Emmanuel Daykeay
Acting President of the Vision College, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Dear Team Members,

I wanted to drop you a quick note to remind everyone that COVID is real and in Liberia and thank God that each of you is taking diligent care of

In our efforts to keep everyone healthy and safe, we continue to monitor guidance from the Ministry of Health and the Public Health Center in Liberia. That advice tells us that:

People should continue to wear masks when indoors in public settings, as well as outdoors in areas with high numbers of COVID cases, and remain 6 feet away from anyone who doesn’t live with them.

Individuals who are not fully vaccinated should also always follow the ministry of Health guidance when should follow local guidelines established by restaurants, stores, and other businesses.

Vision School System strongly recommends all team members receive the COVID vaccine, which is now instantly available from the government.

Please do not hesitate to reach to me with questions or concerns. And thank you, as always, for helping to protect our students and one another.

Sincerely yours,

The Board Chairman,

The Vision School System wants to introduce you to the Vision Bible Training Center located in Perjuezohn Community, Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County, Liberia.

About:

You hold in your hands an invitation to an enriching learning experience. Vision Bible Training Center (VBTC) will help you grow spiritually and be better equipped to minister the Word of God with power.

We are a short-term, part-time school, placing a major emphasis upon helping our students to develop their God-given ministry potential. Our goals are not only academic but spiritual and practical.

The union of these factors creates an exciting environment in which you can anticipate a real expansion in your grasp of scripture, in your relationship with other Christians, in the vigor of your faith, and in your service for Christ.

We welcome you among our students, and we pray that your expectations will be surpassed. May the Lord bring you to a new level of personal fulfillment and fruitful service, in the local church or the workplace.

If you are already one of our students, then we pray that you will find the will and the wisdom to complete well what you have begun, and so prove to be diligent in the Word of God.

BENEFITS

We have designed our courses to benefit people who share our spiritual identity and who are serious about obeying the Biblical call to be a minister of Christ, whether in part-time or full-time service. As a participant in the VBTC program, the ministry of outstanding teachers will enrich you. You will share deeply in your community of faith, learning the power of faith and how to live by faith. Vision Bible Training Center commits itself to help you to arouse the supernatural in your life through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You will learn sound and balanced doctrine, how to handle your Bible wisely and well, and how to separate truth from error. The result should be growth in spiritual stature, and in your ability to serve Christ successfully.

COMPETENCY-BASED VOCATIONAL TRAINING

The Vision Bible Training Center provides for competency-based vocational training, which perfectly complements EBTC’s commitment to training within the local church and community. The first three years of study are competency-based, meaning that the student is less required to memorize and repeat information, and more required to demonstrate that he or she is competent to perform essential skills for Vocational Ministry. Competency is demonstrated by collecting and submitting evidence to qualified assessors. We believe that this is best accomplished in the context of the local church.
