මීට දින කිහිපයකට පෙර අපි වැලිගම ප්‍රදේශයේ කසල පෙරනයක් සවි කළා. මෙම ඇළෙන් ප්ලාස්ටික් බෝතල් සහ වෙනත් අපද්‍රව්‍ය බොහොමයක් තවදුරටත් සාගරයට නොපැමිණෙන නමුත් කාර්යය අවසාන නොවේ. අපි එය නිතර නිතර පිරිසිදු කිරීම, දත්ත රැස් කිරීම සහ මේ කාරණය සම්බන්ධයෙන් දැනුවත් කිරීම අවශ්‍ය වේ. අපගේ සාගරය පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ මෙම කුඩා නමුත් වැදගත් පියවරක් සම්පූර්ණ කිරීමට අපට උපකාර කිරීම ගැන Rotaract district 3220 සහ වැලිගම නගර සභාවට මෙන්ම සම්බන්ධවු සියළු දෙනාටම අපි ස්තූතිවන්ත වෙමු.

A lot has been going on in our enviorment these last few months. More recently the latest chaos that's unfolding in our ocean. 😔
But on World Enviorment day we have some positive and hopeful news to share with you. Our trash trap project is at the final stage of approvals and soon we will have the green light to go ahead with the project. It's been challenging rallying everyone together and finding the resources to do a meaningful project that would be continuous and impactful. We hope more people can join us and play a part in minimizing more waste entering our oceans. 🙏🏼
