பழைய காலண்டர் தாள்கள் மற்றும் எண்கள் அச்சிடப்பட்ட தாள்களைக் கொண்டு ஒரு மீனவர் மீன்பிடிப்பது போன்ற நிழல் உருவமும் (Silhouette / Shadow Drawing) வரையப்பட்டுள்ளது. காலண்டரின் தேதிகளுக்கு மேல் இந்த நிழல் உருவத்தை அமைத்திருப்பது, "கால ஓட்டத்திற்கு மத்தியிலும் தொடரும் மனித உழைப்பை" குறியீடாகக் காட்டுவது போல் அமைந்துள்ளது.
ஓவியத்தின் இருபுறமும் கறுப்பு நிறத்தில் வரையப்பட்டுள்ள பனை மரங்கள் மற்றும் இடதுபுறம் உள்ள மஞ்சள் நிறச் சூரியன் ஆகியவை இந்த நவீன பாணியிலான கொலாஜ் கலைக்கு ஒரு அழகான இயற்கைச் சூழலை அல்லது கிராமியப் பின்னணியைக் கொடுக்கின்றன.
பழைய தாள்களைக் கொண்டு, எண்களையும் கலைப் பொருளாக மாற்றி, ஒரு அழகான கதையைச் சொல்லும் இந்த ஓவியத்தை உருவாக்கிய எமது மாணவியின் கற்பனைத் திறனுக்கு வாழ்த்துக்கள்!
A silhouette (shadow drawing) of a fisherman fishing has been crafted using old calendar pages and sheets printed with numbers. Placing this silhouette over the dates of the calendar beautifully symbolizes "human labor continuing amidst the passage of time."
The black palm trees drawn on both sides of the artwork and the yellow sun on the left side provide a beautiful natural setting or rural background to this modern-style collage art.
Congratulations to our students imagination for creating this artwork that tells a beautiful story by transforming old papers and numbers into a piece of art!
