*(This is the Vassa season – a time dedicated to spiritual growth and monastic discipline.)*

Nikini Poya marks the convening of the First Buddhist Council under the leadership of Ven. Mahākassapa Thera, and provides the opportunity for monks to observe *Pachchima Vassa* (Later Rains Retreat).

This season is a sacred period dedicated to discipline, mindfulness, and deep spiritual cultivation.

🌼 Let us engage in meritorious deeds, observe precepts, and illuminate our lives with the light of the Dhamma.
