Every great harvest begins with hands willing to work and hearts eager to learn. 💚

Our dedicated members of the Green Root Club proudly took the first step in their School Vegetable Garden Project by preparing the soil beds with their own hands. From clearing the land and removing debris to cultivating nutrient-rich garden beds, our young environmentalists embraced the value of teamwork, perseverance, and sustainable agriculture.

The prepared beds will soon become home to Scotch Bonnet pepper plants, giving our students a unique opportunity to experience the complete journey from seed to harvest while developing practical agricultural skills and environmental responsibility.

At Leeds International School Matugama, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Through hands-on projects like these, we nurture future leaders who understand the importance of sustainability, healthy living, and caring for our planet.
