This concert, which is organised by us at UCSC Alumni, was a postponed event (due to a few technical reasons) that was supposed to be held in February.
This being our annual fund rasing event, we planned to allocate this year's profit fully to the restoration project of the University of Peradeniya ICT centre, which was heavily affected by the Cyclone Ditwah. The restoration project is valued at Rs.115 million and projected to be completed within one year period of time. While the UOP ICT centre is working tirelessly to accomplish this mission, we as an alumni of a state University, has wowed to play our part as per the maximum capacity that we can reach.
Therefore, when you are buying a ticket to witness this unforgettable musical event, you are also contributing to a national cause.
If you intend to buy a ticket, you can do it through the Tickets Ministry, but if you are buying a ticket manually through our committee, it will save another 6% charge goes to Tickets Ministry, hence the contribution is more towards this cause.
