๐ Celebrating Global Academic Excellence!
We are delighted to share that Dr. Nadee Mahawattha, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing Management, Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, successfully participated in the international exchange programme โEnglish for Specific Purposes (ESP) within the Global Tourism Industry.โ
The programme was organized by the Office of English Language Programs, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State, and implemented in collaboration with FHI 360. It was held in the United States from 6 to 20 July 2026.
Representing Sri Lanka among 25 participants from 24 countries, Dr. Mahawattha successfully completed the programme and received her certificate from Victoria (Robinson) Roberts, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Academic Programs, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State.
The certificate presentation and networking reception were held at the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace, Washington, D.C.

The Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka invites applications from qualified candidates for the Post of Temporary Demonstrator.
๐ Qualifications:
โข BSc Honours degree in Management / Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized university
โข Excellent command of English
โข Knowledge and experience in electronic and printed media production
โข Knowledge and experience in maintaining web pages
โข Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop, or Canva
โข Good organizational skills to manage multidisciplinary tasks
๐ธ Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in photography, videography, and graphic designing.
