Centre for Eco-cultural Studies (CES) Sri Lanka–based research and training institute advancing harmony between nature and heritage.

Based in Sigiriya, CES integrates science and practice in conservation, archaeology, and environmental management. A focus on natural and cultural resource management in Protected Areas and their environs through community participatory initiatives; and advocacy with a pragmatic approach to safeguard Sri Lanka’s wildlife and flag species -- elephant -- with enforcement of legislation -- Wildlife, Public Property, Animal Rights and Cruelty and Constitutional Rights.
