*The Sandeshaya Awards 2026*, organized by the "Ananda College Broadcasting Unit" of Ananda College Colombo was held on 14th of March 2026 at the Kularathne Hall in Colombo.

The event honored the winners of the *ISAC Media Competition 2025*, where *3000+ participants* from over 350 schools competed islandwide.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, along with many distinguished media personalities.

Sandalanka Central College proudly secured *four* national placements:
• *I.M. Sandali Uththara* —
> Tamil Medium News Editing (Open)
> 5th Place

• *Imalshi Savindya* —
> Tamil Medium Intermediate Announcing
> 5th Place

• *Heshan Kahagalla* —
> English Medium Intermediate Announcing
> 🏅 1st Runner-Up

• *Masha Ruvini* —
> Tamil Medium Senior Announcing
> 🏅1st Runner-Up
