COMMEMORATION OF THE 100TH FACULTY BOARD MEETING OF FGS

The 100th Faculty Board Meeting was held on 28th April 2026. The occasion was marked with a simple tea gathering attended by all Faculty Board members and the staff of the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS). The Dean warmly welcomed the participants and expressed sincere appreciation for the dedication and contributions made by both the academic and administrative staff throughout the faculty’s journey toward growth and success. The Dean also extended special gratitude to the former Deans for their tireless efforts and invaluable service rendered in uplifting the faculty to its present standing.

INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES - 2026

The Faculty of Graduate Studies of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University conducted the inauguration ceremony for the academic programmes commencing in the academic year 2026–2027 on 10th January 2026.

The academic programmes inaugurated were MBA in Logistics Management, MSc in Computer Science, Master of Laws in Public Law and the MBA (One Year).
