We are profoundly saddened by the cruelty of the recent wave of deadly blasts that have afflicted hundreds of innocent people in Sri Lanka. We offer our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones and pray that peace and a sense of safety can be restored fast.

We only had a 4 day week this week because of the Poya (full moon) holiday. We spent Day 3 visiting other preschools in another town, Batticaloa. On Day 4, students set up fruit stalls and bought and sold fruits. They also did fruit jigsaw puzzles, and learned a dance to a Tamil song about mangoes (Mamburam, Mamburam).
