Every day I see problems in our country and when you analyze them closely most of them can be solved by having a proper education system....In other words most of our problems are due to the problems of our education system...worse thing is we are no where near in understanding them and then how can we expect to have solutions for them.....But if we get together we can make a change starting very small scale....which is why I wish to make a group that would understand the need of a better education system....

I would like to form a group which would help youth to get guidance for their careers....may be to hold some group meetings, workshops to help you to plan for a great career...lnbox me or write to [email protected] for details

Number 1 rule when deciding a career is "Select what you like to do as your career"

Education Ministry should take immediate action to encourage the school children to do more of the extra curricular activities such as sports, other societies&Associations such as Science, Literature & Drama (English, Sinhala and Tamil), debating teams, etc. etc....
There should be a mechanism to encourage the students to do these activities as they are a part of education. Otherwise the schools would be seen as Tuition Centers....Performances of teachers and schools should not be measured by the number of A's students get at the O/L and A/L....
Instead should carry out regular feedback mechanisms from Students as well as from Parents. Teachers can do an open self evaluation as well...
