Lions Club of Panadura Central, in order to assist the students of Grade 12 of Sri Sumangala Balika Vidyalaya, Panadura, conducted a seminar on 05 Sept 2019 on many subjects for which 250 x students attended along with 4 x teachers, 3 x lions and 1 x Leo. Students also were served with biscuits and milk packets as refreshments under Lions Club arrangements.

In view of the invaluable support extended by the Sri Lanka Army deployed in Maullaitivu for Lion's activities and to pay gratitude for the same, a dinner was hosted by Lions Club of Panadura Central on 28 Nov 2015 at the Officers Mess of 6 Battaion of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Mullaitivu. Security Force Commander (Mullaitivu) Maj Gen Upul Vidanage, General Officer Commanding - 68 Division, Maj Gen Ajith Kariyakarawana and many other senior officers of the SL Army attended the dinner along with officers of 6 Bn EME.

A Tree Planting Campaign was launched at Sri Lanka Army 6 Battalion of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Mullaitivu on 29 Nov 2015 by Lions Club of Panadura Central. 550 x Plants of various kinds such as Jack, Mahogany, Teak and Mango were planted within the camp premises. President, Lions Club of Panadura Central, Lion Hinton Peiris, PDG Lion Dr Upali Jayawardane along with few members of the club atteded the campaign with some officials of the 6 Bn EME. Project Chairman was Lion Maj Gen Upul Perera. Campaign which was a grand success was commended by many.

The Lions of Panadura Central conducted a Health Camp at Mullaitivu at Pudukudiruppu Sri Subramanium Vidyalaya, on 28 Nov 2015 with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Army. Lions Club President was Lion Hinton Kusumsiri Peiris. Security Force Commander (Mullaitivu) Maj Gen Upul Vithanage coordinated assistance from the Army and the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Association headed by Maj Gen (Dr) Dudley Perera assisted in providing Medical Consultaion with his team. Project Chairman was Lion Maj Gen Upul Perera. Health Camp was a great success and around 750 villagers obtained medical consultations
