Requesting Sponsorship for Establishment of a Handicrafts Vocational Training Division for Youths with Disabilities

The above named school is registered under the Ministry of Social Services for persons with disabilities under the NSPD / 10 / R-223 number of the National Secretariat and is under the supervision of the Attanagalla Divisional Secretariat. About 18 children with Down syndrome, Hyperactivity, Slow Mind, Hearing and Speech Disorders, Visually Impaired, Cerebral Palsy, are being educated.
In addition to these children, there are eight young people with Downs syndrome, Autism, Slow-Minding, and over 16 years of age. All of them live under the care of their parents, have no financial interests, and have no training or ability to work directly. So use these 08 as a starting point
1. Training in various floral arrangements as handicrafts
2. Candle and Mounting Training
It is expected to produce and market these handicrafts with trainees after the training and it is expected to create a long-term process of distributing the income among them.
There is no material or financial contribution from the government, other private or NGOs to maintain our school. Therefore, it is a difficult task to obtain the required capital to acquire raw materials to start this vocational training program.
We do not expect any money from you and if you can provide raw materials and simple training equipment to one of the above training programs, it will be a great charity for the disabled community and a social responsibility for our own children. Your support is grateful.
