The Cheetah and the Race..
Once, a group of organizers arranged a grand race between a pack of swift dogs and a majestic cheetah. The crowd gathered, eager to witness who would prove the fastest.
But when the race began, the cheetah did not move. It simply sat still, calm and unmoved by the noise around it.
People whispered in confusion. “Is it tired? Afraid? Or too proud to run?”
The coordinator smiled and said,
“The cheetah does not run to prove itself. It runs only when there is purpose — to hunt, not to compete.”
Then he added,
“Sometimes, trying to prove that you are the best is an insult to your own greatness. You don’t need to join every race. Save your energy for what truly matters.”
And the crowd fell silent — for they had just witnessed the wisdom of a creature that knew its worth.
