✨ LUMORA ’26 – Building a Legacy ✨

Another successful chapter has been added to the journey of the School of Business, BCI Campus.

LUMORA ’26 was not simply an event. It was a valuable learning experience where our students demonstrated teamwork, leadership, confidence, responsibility and professionalism while engaging with distinguished industry leaders and gaining meaningful insights into their future careers.

A special appreciation goes to Ms. Sandamini Karunanayaka for her tremendous commitment, coordination, guidance and continuous support throughout the entire journey. Her dedication played a major role in making LUMORA ’26 a success.

Congratulations as well to all our students who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and confidently took responsibility for organizing and managing an event of this scale. Watching them grow, overcome challenges and develop the confidence to lead is one of the greatest achievements of LUMORA.

Following the success of LUMORA ’25, we are proud to continue building something meaningful for our students.

We are not simply conducting another event — we are building a tradition and creating a legacy.

🎓 Celebrating the Successful Completion of Our Diploma Programmes! 🎓

It is with great happiness and appreciation that we mark the successful completion of our two diploma programmes at the BCI School of Business. This achievement was made possible through the commitment, teamwork, and continuous support of many individuals.

I am deeply grateful to our Rev. Fr. Rector – Vice Chancellor for his guidance, encouragement, and continuous support extended to the School of Business. I also sincerely thank all the Reverend Fathers, academic and administrative staff, and everyone at BCI Campus who supported us in numerous ways to successfully complete these programmes.

A very special thank you to Ms. Sithmi Shashipraba, Coordinator of the Diploma Programmes, for her dedication, careful coordination, and tremendous effort in organizing the programmes and ensuring that everything was carried out successfully. 🌟

My sincere appreciation also goes to our lecturers, Ms. Sasini Fernando, Ms. Sandamini Karunanayaka, and Ms. Michaeli Jayamanne, for their valuable academic contribution, commitment to our students, and continued support throughout the programmes. Your dedication has been an essential part of this success. 👏

Most importantly, a heartfelt thank you to all our students. ❤️ Your enthusiasm, participation, commitment, and willingness to learn made this entire journey meaningful. Seeing your progress and achievements is the greatest reward for all the effort behind these programmes.

🎓 Special Diploma Workshop 2026 | BCI Campus – School of Business

The Special Diploma Workshop 2026 was successfully conducted as an engaging learning experience for our diploma students, combining academic knowledge, practical industry exposure, personal development, mindfulness, networking and interactive team-building activities. The programme was designed to create learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom environment.

A special thank you to Prof. Aminda Perera for the insightful session on Workplace Mindfulness and to Mr. Shaliya Udayakantha Silva, Assistant General Manager – HR / HRD, Sanasa Life Insurance Company PLC, for sharing his valuable corporate experience through an engaging session on the Practical Applications of Human Resource Management.

We were also honoured by the participation of Rev. Fr. Expeditus Jayakody, Rector – Vice Chancellor of BCI Campus, whose presence added further value to this special occasion.

The day was enriched with interactive activities, student engagement, peer networking and team-building experiences, giving our students an opportunity to learn, connect and grow together. The official programme also included structured student engagement and networking activities as key components of the workshop.

Our sincere appreciation goes to all the resource persons, academic staff, organizing team and, most importantly, our students for making the Special Diploma Workshop 2026 a memorable and meaningful learning experience.

🚗✨ CAR WASH FUNDRAISER – SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, BCI CAMPUS ✨🚗

A big thank you to our energetic and committed students who successfully organized and participated in the Car Wash Fundraising Programme in support of their upcoming Pandama Event. 💙

It was wonderful to see the teamwork, enthusiasm, responsibility, and dedication shown by everyone involved. Activities like this not only help raise funds but also provide valuable opportunities for students to develop teamwork, communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills beyond the classroom.

👏 Our sincere appreciation goes to all the students who contributed their time and effort to make the programme a success.

We also warmly thank everyone who supported the initiative by bringing their vehicles and encouraging our students.
