Thank you to everyone who joined us on the Sunshine Coast for our Spotlight on Pedagogy event.

It was wonderful to connect with local teachers and share ideas, resources and inspiration for piano teaching, Australian repertoire and AGMS examination pathways.

Special thanks to Mooloolaba Music Centre for generously hosting the event, and to the Queensland Music Teachers Association - Sunshine Coast group for their valued support.

Thank you also to Yolanda Frylink, President of the Queensland Music Teachers' Association, for her insightful presentation on teaching adult learners.

We are grateful to all the teachers who attended and contributed to such a positive and engaging event.

Join us at Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference in Adelaide!

We’re delighted to be presenting Sounds from Home: New Australian Repertoire to Excite and Inspire on Thursday 9 July.

This session will explore fresh, engaging Australian piano repertoire for beginner through to advanced levels, with practical ideas for teachers looking to introduce more Australian music into their studios.

We’re especially looking forward to hearing Jo Kotchie, Paul Myatt, Helen Perris & Anna Robinson present their original works live as part of this event.

Special thanks also to Kawai Pianos Australia, together with Pianomax by Kawai, for providing the instruments for the day.
