දරුවෙකුගේ හිනාවේ රහසයි...
වැලි මත දුවන පුංචි පා සටහන්වල,
අහස තරම් ලොකු සිහින සැඟවී ඇත.
පැන පැන, දුව දුව,
සිනාසෙමින් ගෙවන ඒ මොහොතවල,
දරුවන් ලෝකය දකින්නේ
ආදරයෙන් හා පුදුමයෙන් පිරුණු ඇස්වලිනි.
සෙල්ලම් බඩුවක් නැති තැනත්,
යහළුවෙකුගේ සිනහවක් ඇති නම්
ඒ තැනම සතුටේ රාජධානියක් වේ.
එබැවින්,
දරුවන්ට කාලය දෙමු,
නිදහස දෙමු,
සෙල්ලම් කරන්න ඉඩ දෙමු...
මන්ද සෙල්ලම යනු
ළමා වියේ සුන්දරම මතකයත්,
අනාගතයේ ශක්තිමත්ම පදනමත් වන බැවිනි.
"දරුවෙකුගේ සිනහව රැකෙන තැන, ලෝකයම ලස්සන වේ."
