First Training Programme of the NYSC International Youth Reserve Successfully Concluded at Batangala

It is with great pride that I consider my selection to the 2026 International Youth Reserve, established to provide Sri Lankan youth with international exposure and opportunities by representing Sri Lanka at international youth exchange programmes, conferences, summits, and other global events.
Being selected among 62 youth representatives from a youth population of over 5.1 million in Sri Lanka is a truly special privilege and achievement.

The first training programme of this youth reserve, comprising representatives from all districts of the island, was held at Batangala from 4th to 8th June 2026. It was a unique opportunity that provided invaluable experiences in leadership, teamwork, international understanding, and personal development.

Having begun my journey in the youth movement, I am deeply honored and humbled to have been recognized for my dedication and experiences and selected as a member of this prestigious reserve.
I consider this a significant opportunity to take the knowledge and experiences I have gained locally to the international stage, while also bringing back global knowledge, innovative ideas, and experiences to contribute towards the advancement and empowerment of Sri Lanka’s youth.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who encouraged me, placed their trust in me, and extended their best wishes throughout this journey.

NYSC විදේශ තරුණ සංචිතයේ පළමු පුහුණු වැඩසටහන – බටංගලදී සාර්ථකව නිමාවට

ශ්‍රී ලාංකීය තරුණ තරුණියන්ට ජාත්‍යන්තර අවස්ථා හා අත්දැකීම් ලබාදීමේ අරමුණින්, ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කරමින් ජාත්‍යන්තර තරුණ හුවමාරු වැඩසටහන්, සමුළු සහ සම්මන්ත්‍රණ සඳහා සහභාගී කරවීමට පිහිටුවන ලද 2026 විදේශ තරුණ සංචිතයට තේරී පත්වීම මගේ ජීවිතයේ අතිශය වටිනා ජයග්‍රහණයක් ලෙස සලකමි.

මෙරට මිලියන 5.1කට අධික තරුණ ජනගහනයක් අතරින් තෝරාගත් තරුණ නියෝජිතයින් 62 දෙනා අතරට එක්වීමට ලැබීම මා ලැබූ විශේෂ භාග්‍යයකි.

දිවයිනේ සියලු දිස්ත්‍රික්ක නියෝජනය වන පරිදි තෝරාගත් මෙම තරුණ සංචිතයේ පළමු පුහුණු වැඩසටහන 2026 ජුනි 04 සිට 08 දක්වා බටංගලදී පැවැත්වුණු අතර, එය නායකත්වය, කණ්ඩායම් ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය, ජාත්‍යන්තර අවබෝධය සහ පෞරුෂ සංවර්ධනය පිළිබඳ අතිශය වටිනා අත්දැකීම් රැසක් ලබාදුන් සුවිශේෂී අවස්ථාවක් විය.

යෞවන සමාජ ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ගමන්මඟ ආරම්භ කළ මට, මෙතෙක් ලබාගත් අත්දැකීම් සහ කැපවීම ඇගයීමට ලක්වී මෙම සංචිතයේ සාමාජිකයෙකු ලෙස තේරී පත්වීම නිහතමානී ආඩම්බරයෙන් යුතුව දක්වමි.

දේශීය මට්ටමින් ලැබූ දැනුම හා අත්දැකීම් ජාත්‍යන්තර වේදිකාවට රැගෙන යමින්, ඉදිරියේදී ජාත්‍යන්තරයෙන් ලබාගන්නා දැනුම, නව අදහස් සහ අත්දැකීම් නැවත අපේ රටේ තරුණ පරපුරේ උන්නතිය වෙනුවෙන් යොදා ගැනීමට මෙය විශාල අවස්ථාවක් කොට සලකමි.

මෙම ගමන පුරාම මා දිරිමත් කළ, විශ්වාසය තැබූ සහ සුභාශිංසන එක් කළ සියලු දෙනාට මාගේ හෘදයාංගම ස්තූතිය පුද කරමි.
