Scouting in Zahira started on 2012.12.12 and still running actively. So far the Zahira scouts has produced 2 president boy scouts and 20 Girl scouts who have won the Bushman thong Award witch is the 2nd highest award in scouting. Also we have trained 450 boy scouts at various awards level. We Thank our MIC - Scouts Z.M.M.Zamny (VP) for his dedicated service.

On 3rd of December 2022. 20 Girls Senior Scouts Were Awarded the Bushman Thong Award witch is final stage before the president scout Award. And 52 New Scout boys ware Awarded Membership Badge. In Zahira History this is the first girls troop and in sabaragamuwa province Zahira is the only Muslim school witch has girls scouts with this highest Award. We are happy say that the Zahira Scouts are celebrating there 10th Year Anniversary in Scouting. And we would like to extend our Sincere Thanks to Vice Principal Z.M.M.Zamny (MIC Scouts) for his Continuous Dedicated Service.

An Eagle Scout himself, Armstrong took his World Scout Badge to the moon. ⚜️ On the way, he sent a message to US Scouts wishing them a good time at their Jamboree. 🥳

He Has Gone Home ....

Sandalu Randive , an excellent and dynamic Scout of Wayamba Royal College, Kurunegala, passed away yesterday (February 25) after a long illness. At the time of his death He was 15 years old.

By the time of death , He was preparing for the District Commissioner Cord. According to his Scout Master Mr. Chinthaka Abeyrathna , He loved his Scouting activities deeply and he always found the happiness through Scouting, while he was in Hospital , His focus was on Scouting Activities.

May he attain the supreme bliss of nibbana 🙏
