The Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna will be organizing the 25th Commemoration Ceremony of Dr. P.S.J.W. Seresinhe, in remembrance of his remarkable life and enduring contributions to agricultural sciences.

This memorial ceremony is organized to honour his lasting legacy with deep respect and heartfelt gratitude, commemorating a life devoted to academic excellence, professional integrity, and service.

🌼🌿The Department of Crop Science has officially commenced the establishment of a crop nursery with the active participation of the 44th batch students. This valuable initiative was guided and initiated by Professor Kumari Fonseka, Dr. Kumarasinghe, Dr. Chathuri Lankani,Dr. Niluka Nakandalage, and Lecturer Achini Karunarathne.

🪴We sincerely thank our respected Sir and Madams for providing us with this valuable opportunity. This initiative will greatly contribute to practical learning and serve as a lasting benefit for future generations of students.☘️
