As a responsible technology education institute, Winhe GTIS – Global Talent Incubation Space is conducting a special awareness program for the students of Daham Pasals on the ethical, legal, responsible, and strategic use of technology in today’s rapidly evolving digital era. ✨

Through this initiative, Winhe GTIS aimed to guide students to become disciplined, value-driven, and future-ready digital citizens who can balance technological advancement with strong moral, cultural, and social responsibility. ✨

As a part of this, Winhe organized a few awareness sessions at – Galahitiyawa Purana Viharaya, Kalatuwawatta Purana Viharaya & Neelmallika Ramaya Viharaya in the month of May 2025. Students, teachers and parents participated for the sessions. ✨

Winhe GTIS, in collaboration with SLASSCOM Academy, successfully conducted a webinar on April 30, 2026, featuring leading Sri Lankan tech experts and corporate leaders. ✨

The session emphasized the importance of strong software engineering capabilities in effectively leveraging AI within modern workplaces — from enhancing workflows to automating key business processes.

This initiative contributed to increasing awareness and understanding of practical AI adoption across the Sri Lankan tech ecosystem.

The webinar recorded over 350+ registrations and 150+ active participants, reflecting strong industry interest and engagement. ✨

Our resource persons brought in real-world insights, practical knowledge, and honest conversations that helped students better understand what it truly takes to succeed beyond the classroom. ✨

Winhe GTIS – Global Talent Incubation Space conducted one day workshop on Software Engineering with AI Agents for senior tech professionals and managerial professionals at Scienter Technologies on 2nd March 2026, at Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM). The workshop was conducted by Fiqri Ismail and Rasika Alahakoon, two industry professionals at Winhe GTIS. ✨

The workshop was completely hands-on and 100% practical and participants gained experience on how to use Claude Code effectively in Software Engineering to build and maintain fully-fledged software systems. Participants also gained understanding how to use AI strategically in an organizational context to improve the productivity. ✨

Winhe GTIS partnered with SLASSCOM in delivering the Software Engineering Boot-Camps under Future Careers Bridge, which is a self-learning platform initiated by SLASSCOM and partners to connect Sri Lankan students with IT/BPM career opportunities. ✨

These are memories of a successful workshop we had under FCB program in 2023 at 99x Technology for Bridge Boot Camp students organized by SLASSCOM Academy in collaboration with Winhe Software Engineering Academy. ✨

The workshop theme was “Think in Objects - OOP Concepts to Coding”. Students had the great opportunity to understand the OOP concepts and get hands-on experience in implementing those using Python. We had experts of Winhe Talent Building Team, Chandimal – Embla Software Innovation, Hirusha – Insharp Technologies, Rasika & Ranuli – Winhe Software Engineering Academy to make this event a success. ✨

As a part of the workshop series, this is the memory of the exclusive one-day workshop in Cyber Security organized and conducted by Winhe Software Engineering Academy and it’s Expert Talent Building Team on 11th January 2025. ✨

This practical, hands-on workshop was designed to empower the participants with the knowledge, tools and skills needed to excel in different tech professional’s role, for a beginner or looking to enhance their expertise, and empowering them to integrate robust Cyber Security practices into your projects. ✨
