Actuarial Career Opportunities Beyond the Insurance Industry 🌐✨

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics (DMS) successfully organized a panel discussion on “Actuarial Career Opportunities Beyond the Insurance Industry” at the First International Conference on Actuarial Science held on 11th October. The session provided valuable insights for students on the diverse career paths available for actuaries.

The conference served as a platform for researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange insights on integrating analytical methods and data-driven decision-making within the field of actuarial science.

International Conference on Sustainable Biotechnology (ICoSBi 2025) under the theme “Building a Sustainable Future Through Biotechnology," was held on 11th of October 2025 as a part of SICASH Multiconference 2025. The conference brought together experts and researchers to share insights and innovations driving sustainability through biotechnological advancements.

International Conference on Educational Trends and Technology (iCONETT 2025) under the theme “Empowering Futures: Navigating the Intersection of Innovation, Equity, and Lifelong Learning in the Globalized Eduscape," was held on 11th of October 2025 as a part of SICASH Multiconference 2025. The conference provided a platform for educators, researchers, and professionals to explore the transformative role of technology and innovation in shaping equitable and future-ready education systems.

SICASH Multiconference 2025 commenced with its inauguration ceremony on October 10th, marking the beginning of an event that celebrates scholarly exchange, innovation, and academic excellence.

As part of the SICASH Multiconference 2025, the International Conference in Law and Justice (ICLJ 2025) hosted Session 2: “Emerging Frontiers – Technology, AI and Private Law” on October 11th, 2025. The session provided an engaging platform for scholars and professionals to discuss the influence of technological advancements on the field of private law.

As part of the SICASH Multiconference 2025, the International Conference on Law and Justice (ICLJ 2025) inaugurated its proceedings with Session 1: “Shifting Paradigms in Public Law” on October 11th, 2025. The session provided a platform for scholarly dialogue on contemporary developments shaping the domain of public law.

The SICASH Pre-Conference Symposium 2025 brought together global and local experts under the theme “Innovative Approaches and Evolving Regulatory Frameworks in Pharma: Shaping the Future of Healthcare.”

From AI in drug discovery to universal flu vaccines, herbal medicine integration, and the future of Sri Lanka’s pharmaceutical industry, the symposium created a platform for thought-provoking discussions and knowledge exchange.
