On 25 June, the global maritime community comes together to celebrate the Day of the Seafarer. This year, IMO launched the campaign 'My Harassment-Free Ship', a bold initiative to promote a culture of respect and zero tolerance for bullying and harassment at sea.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Harsha Wimalarathne (Gala), while on board the ship. Harsha was not only a cherished member of our association but also a friend, a batchmate, and a brother to many within our community.
