අධ්‍යයනාංශයේ ඉතිහාසයේ ප්‍රථම වරට, උපාධිය සම්පූර්ණ කර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන් නික්ම යාමට නියමිත 6 වන ශිෂ්‍ය කණ්ඩායමේ සිසුන් විසින් අධ්‍යයන කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය වෙනුවෙන් විශේෂ තේ පැන් සංග්‍රහයක් සංවිධානය කර, ඔවුන්ගේ කෘතඥතාවයේ සංකේතයක් ලෙස සිහිවටන ද පිරිනමන ලදී. තාක්ෂණ පීඨයේ පීඨාධිපතිතුමාගේ සහභාගිත්වය මෙම අවස්ථාව තවත් සුවිශේෂී කළේය.

இலங்கை வயம்பப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் தொழில்நுட்ப பீடத்தின் கட்டுமானத் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறை, தனது வரலாற்றில் ஒரு மறக்கமுடியாத மைல்கல்லை எட்டியுள்ளது!
கட்டுமானத் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையின் வரலாற்றில் முதன்முறையாக, விரைவில் பட்டம்பெறவிருக்கும் 6ஆவது மாணவர் அணியைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள், கல்விசார் ஊழியர்களுக்காக விசேட தேநீர் விருந்தொன்றை ஏற்பாடு செய்து, தமது நன்றியின் அடையாளமாக நினைவுப் பரிசுகளையும் வழங்கினர். தொழில்நுட்ப பீடத்தின் பீடாதிபதியின் பங்கேற்பு இந்நிகழ்வை மேலும் சிறப்பாக்கியது.
தமது பல்கலைக்கழகப் பயணத்தை நிறைவுசெய்யத் தயாராகும் இவ்வேளையில், இத்தகைய அர்த்தமுள்ள மற்றும் நினைவில் நிலைத்திருக்கும் நிகழ்வை ஏற்பாடு செய்த 6ஆவது மாணவர் அணியைச் சேர்ந்த, பட்டம்பெறவிருக்கும் மாணவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் எமது மனமார்ந்த பாராட்டுகளையும் நன்றிகளையும் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம். அவர்களின் எதிர்கால முயற்சிகள் அனைத்தும் வெற்றிபெற எமது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகள்!

A memorable milestone for the Department of Construction Technology, Faculty of Technology, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka!
For the first time in the history of the Department, the soon to graduate students of the 6th Batch organized a special tea party for the academic staff and presented souvenirs as tokens of their appreciation. The occasion was made even more special by the presence of the Dean of the Faculty.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the graduating students of the 6th Batch for organizing this thoughtful and memorable event as they prepare to conclude their university journey. We wish them every success in their future endeavours!

Join us for the AgriTech Awareness Session 2026, the opening event of the AgriTech Startup Spark Competition, where we explore real-world agricultural challenges, examine emerging tech solutions like AI and IoT, and pave the way for impactful farming innovations.

🌱 AGRITECH AWARENESS SESSION 2026 🌱

Are you interested in understanding how real agricultural challenges can be addressed through technology?

Join the AgriTech Awareness Session 2026, the first session of the AgriTech Startup Spark Competition. This session is designed to raise community awareness among participants about the real problems farmers face in agriculture and the challenges within the agricultural sector.

Rather than presenting solutions immediately, this session will focus on identifying, discussing and analyzing the real difficulties experienced by farmers. Participants are encouraged to share issues they have observed or encountered in farming communities, helping us build a strong understanding of the ground realities before moving toward innovation.

Topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), automation and digital agriculture will be introduced to help participants understand how these technologies can later be used to address the challenges identified during the session.
