Art Committee - MFSU - Wayamba Art is a re-imagination of the ordinary things. We span across different areas of art,dance,music, drama and poetry empowering the talents of the young.

Art Circle of Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka was established in the aim of rediscovering the talents of the students encouraging them to engage in aesthetic activities. Starting off with a minimum number of students yet diverse in talent, we are making a platform for everyone to improve their skills

:- අම්මෙ හිරිකඩ සීත නැතුවද ඔතන ඔය තෙමි තෙමී ඉන්නේ
ටිකට් කැපුවද දැන් සනීපද ගෙදර යන්නද බලන් ඉන්නේ
පුතා එනවද ගෙදර කොයි බද කොහොම මේ රෑ ජාමේ යන්නේ
ඇස් තෙමෙන්නම වැස්ස වැටුනද කියන්නට පුළුවන්ද අම්මේ

:- හත් දෙනෙක් මගෙ පවුලෙ වැඩිමල් මමයි බඩ පිස්සී පුතේ
තාත්තගෙ පණ ඩිංග යනකොට හෝඩියත් මම දැක නැතේ
ඉදෙන බත් පත මදි වු හින්දා අයියලට ගෙයි ඉඩ නැතේ
පිනට දුන්නද කාසි කෙරුවද තවම මම දන්නෑ පුතේ

මමත් වැදුවා දරුවො හතරක් මහ මෙරක් කැටි කොට හිතේ
මටත් තලලා උන්ගෙ අප්පා කනත්තට ගියෙ වෙරි මතේ
ඉල්ලගෙන කවලයි පුතේ මම උන්ව දහ අට පැන්නුවේ
ගෙවල් හතරෙම අගුළු දාලා මම කොහේ ඉන්නද පුතේ

උරුමයෙන් මට ලැබුණු මහ ගෙයි ඉඩමෙ ඉන්නට ගිය වෙලේ
මගෙ මරණ සහතිකේ හදලා ඉඩම විකුණල උන් පුතේ
හැත්තෑව පැන්නාට වයසත් තාම හයියයි හිත මගේ
පොලක් ගානේ ඇවිද යනවා මක් කරන්නද මම පුතේ

උදේ ඉඳලා කෑවෙ නෑ මං මෙහෙ ටවුම හරි තද බදේ
දෙදාහක් ගානටම ඇති අද තවම ගැන්නේ නෑ පුතේ
මෙතන ඉඳගෙන සීත තපිමින් මම යන්නෙ නම් හෙට උදේ
සංසාර චක්කරේ ඔහොමයි රෑට කාලද මගෙ පුතේ
