The Mahanama Athletic Development Committee was delighted to recognize and appreciate our young athletes who brought honour and glory to Mahanama College through their outstanding performances at the All Island level in 2025.

Gift vouchers were presented to students who achieved notable successes in the High Jump, Long Jump, and 4 x 100m Relay events in recognition of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

The stage is set for an exciting showdown as Mahanama College, Colombo takes on P. De. S. Kularathna College, Ambalangoda in the Finals of the All Island Under-16 Basketball Tournament 2026 – Division B, Tier 2, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Basketball Association.

Our young Mahanamian have displayed remarkable determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament to earn their place in the final. වර්ෂ 1974 සිට 1976 දක්වා අප විද්‍යාලයේ විදුහල්පතිවරයෙකු ලෙසින් අමිල මෙහෙයක් ඉටුකළ ටී.එස්.සිල්වා ගුරුපියාණන්ගේ වියෝව සාතිශය සංවේගයෙන් දැනුම් දෙමු.

එතුමාගේ දේහය මේවන විට එතුමන් ජීවත්ව සිටි 632, සිරිසඳ,ගාලු පාර, පානදුර ස්ථානයේ පිහිටි එතුමන්ගේ නිවසේ තැන්පත් කර ඇත. එතුමා සඳහා අවසන් ගෞරව දැක්වීමට සහෘද මහානායීය ඔබ සියලු දෙනාට අවස්ථාව ඇත.

අවසන් කටයුතු 2026 අප්‍රේල් මස 19 ඉරිදා වන ඉරිදා එනම් අද දින ප.ව. 4.00 ට පානදුර මෙනුවම්පිටිය ආදාහනාගාරයේදී සිදුකෙරේ.
