සෞරග්‍රහමණ්ඩලයේ ග්‍රහලෝක වල විශාලත්ව.

සූර්යයාගෙන් පිටත ග්‍රහලෝක වන්නේ බුධ, සිකුරු, පෘථිවිය, අඟහරු, බ්‍රහස්පති, සෙනසුරු, යුරේනස් සහ නෙප්චූන්ය.

බ්‍රහස්පතිගේ විෂ්කම්භය පෘථිවියේ විෂ්කම්භය මෙන් 11 ගුණයක් පමණ වන අතර සූර්යයාගේ විෂ්කම්භය බ්‍රහස්පතිගේ විෂ්කම්භය මෙන් 10 ගුණයක් පමණ වනවා. ප්ලූටෝගේ විෂ්කම්භය පෘථිවියෙන් පහෙන් එකකට වඩා තරමක් අඩුය.

2032 වසරේදී පෘථිවිය සමග ඝට්ටනය වීමට වේ යැයි සිතූ 2024 YR4 ග්‍රහකයේ පෘථිවිය සමඟ ඝට්ටනය වීමේ සම්භාවිතාවය පසුගිය සතිවල විද්‍යාඥයන් සිදුකල නිරීක්ෂණ මත (3.1%) සිට (0.004%) දක්වා පහළ වැටී ඇත.

එනිසා විද්‍යාඥයන් ප්‍රකාශ කරන්නේ 2032 වසරේදී මෙම ග්‍රහකය පෘථිවියට කිසිදු බලපෑමකින් ​තොරව පෘථිවිය ආසන්නයෙන් ගමන් කරනු ඇති බවයි.

_එබැවින් මෙම ග්‍රහකය පෘථිවිය සමග ගැටීම පිළිබඳව කිසිදු බියක් දැන් ඇතිකරගතයුතු නැහැ!

අඟහරු මතදි රෝවරයට හැදුන "හෘදයාබාධය"

ගොඩබෑමෙන් දින හයකට පසුව, කියුරියෝසිටි බරපතල පරිගණක දෝෂයකට ලක් වුනා. රෝවරයට පරිගණක දෙකක් තිබුණා:
• A-side (ප්‍රධාන පරිගණකය)
• B-පැත්ත (උප ප්‍රධාන පරිගණකය - plan B)

A-පැත්තේ පරිගණකය විශාල memory ගැටලුවකට මුහුණ දුන් අතර, එනිසා NASA හට ප්‍රධන පරිඝණකය B-පරිඝනකය වෙත මාරු කිරීමට සිදු වුනා. එය ද අසාර්ථක වූවා නම්, රෝවරය ස්ථිරවම අහිමි විය හැකිව තිබුණා.

ඇත්තටම මොකද වුණේ?
• කොස්මික් විකිරණ මගින් memory corrupt කිරීම නිසා ගැටලුව ඇති වූ බව ඉංජිනේරුවන් පසුව සොයා ගත්තා.
• Curiosity නැවත online තත්වයට ගෙන ඒමට, හදිසි දෝශ නිරාකරණ සිදු කිරීමට දින කිහිපයක් ගත වුනා.

මෙම සිදුවීම නාසා ආයතනය අභ්‍යවකාශ පරිගණක සැලසුම් කරන ආකාරය වෙනස් කළ අතර දැන් එනිසා විකිරණ වලින් සිදුවන හානි වලකා ගැනීමට, වඩා හොඳ ආරක්ෂාවක් ලබා දෙනවා.
