We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our talented students, including a student from the Matara Division who attends our classes online via Zoom and has earned outstanding results at the Matara Zonal Competition.

We also congratulate our other young achievers for their excellent performances in Prepared Speech, Storytelling, Recitation, and Impromptu Speech competitions.

These accomplishments remind us that every lesson, every encouragement, and every effort invested in our students truly bears fruit. Their success is the greatest reward for us as educators.

🌿 Bringing Back the Beautiful Old Days 🌿

Today our little Montessori children stepped back in time and experienced a piece of the 1980s childhood we once cherished. 💛
We made simple crowns using jackfruit leaves and eco sticks, just like how children used to play in the old days — creative, natural, and full of imagination. No screens, no distractions… just hands, nature, laughter, and learning. 🌱✨
It was heartwarming to see their excitement, curiosity, and happiness as they created something so simple yet so meaningful. These are the small memories that shape beautiful childhoods.
We truly believe children should not only learn from books, but also experience the joy of traditional play ... the way we once did. 💚
Let’s keep these memories alive and pass them on to the next generation.

Our Singithi Vegetable Pola at Morning Star Preschool was a great success today!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the parents who attended and supported our little shopkeepers. Thanks to your encouragement, all the vegetables were sold out, making the event both exciting and memorable for the children.

This activity provided a wonderful hands-on learning experience, helping the children understand buying and selling, handling money, communicating with customers, and building their confidence in a real-life setting.

🥕Morning Star Vegetable Market 🍆🥒

Our little learners are excited to welcome you to their Vegetable Market on 12 th Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

This activity is organized to give children a hands-on learning experience of a real marketplace, helping them understand buying and selling, handling money, communication skills, and building confidence.

This is not a fundraising event. The main purpose is to provide our children with a fun and meaningful learning experience.

We warmly invite everyone to visit us, purchase some fresh vegetables, and encourage our young shopkeepers as they take part in this exciting activity.

අද අපේ පෙර පාසලේ දරුවන්ට පිටි ගුලියක් තලමින් හා හැඩගස්වමින් සතුටින් ඉගෙන ගැනීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබුණා. 😊

මෙවැනි ක්‍රියාකාරකම් මඟින් දරුවන්ගේ ඇඟිලි හා අත් මාංශපේශී ශක්තිමත් වන අතර, ඇඟිලි නිවැරදිව පාලනය කිරීමේ හැකියාව ද වර්ධනය වෙනවා.

අනාගතයේදී පැන්සල නිවැරදිව අල්ලා ලිවීමට, කතුර භාවිත කිරීමට සහ දෛනික කාර්යයන් පහසුවෙන් ඉටු කිරීමට මෙම පුහුණුව මහඟු පිටුවහලක් වෙනවා.

සෙල්ලම් කරමින් ඉගෙනීම දරුවන්ගේ ප්‍රියතම ක්‍රමයයි. අපගේ ඉලක්කය වන්නේ ඔවුන්ගේ සංවර්ධනය සතුටින්, නිර්මාණශීලීව හා ස්වභාවිකව ගොඩනැගීමයි. ❤️

Activities like these help strengthen the muscles in their fingers and hands while improving their ability to control finger movements with greater precision.

This practice plays an important role in preparing children for future tasks such as holding a pencil correctly, using scissors, and carrying out everyday activities with confidence and ease.

Learning through play is one of children's favorite ways to learn. Our goal is to support their development in a joyful, creative, and natural environment. ❤️

A day painted in smiles, laughter, and shades of blue 💙✨
From tiny blue outfits to bright little eyes filled with excitement, our preschool transformed into a beautiful world of blue today! The children explored the magic of the color through fun games, creative activities, and a lovely blue peacock craft made with their little hands.
Learning became an adventure as our little stars discovered blue things around them, laughed together, played together, and created beautiful memories together. A truly joyful celebration full of happiness, creativity, and colorful learning 💙🦚
