Ozone Friends Two-Day Camp 2026 🌿💚

The Ozone Friends Camp was successfully held on 11th and 12th June 2026 at Sanasa Campus, Hettimulla, bringing together 106 Girl Guides for an inspiring journey of environmental awareness.

This programme was organized and conducted under the guidance and leadership of the Principal, with the valuable resource contribution of the Air Resource Management and National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Environment. We extend our sincere gratitude to the following individuals for their support and contribution:

🔹 Ms. Surani Pathirana – Assistant Director (Air Resource Management and National Ozone Unit)
🔹 Ms. Kavindri Ravihari – Development Officer & Ozone Trainer
🔹 Ms. Teena Adhikaram – Development Officer

Their valuable leadership, expertise, and dedication played a vital role in the success of this programme.

A special highlight of the camp was the Nature Trail, organized for the participants to experience and appreciate the beauty of the natural environment. This activity was facilitated by our distinguished old girl Ms.Narmada and her team, whose commitment and enthusiasm made the experience both educational and memorable.

The camp provided an excellent platform for our Girl Guides to learn about environmental conservation, ozone protection, and sustainable living while developing friendships and leadership skills.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this programme a remarkable success. Together, we inspire the next generation to protect and preserve our environment for a better tomorrow. 🌎✨
