Let’s Not Forget
Today is Children’s Day, and people celebrate it by making them happy in many beautiful ways. Today is Elders Day, too. Let’s celebrate it by remembering our elders and what they have done for us. Elders are people who are older than us and have more knowledge and life experiences. They can be our parents, grandparents, teachers, and religious people. Society's sweet and bitter experiences make them more mature than we are.
Here, I consider wise and kind people who matured with life experiences and helped me grow to my best.
We should especially think of our parents. They are the people who raised us and helped us in the best possible ways from the beginning of our lives.
When we were young, our parents were there for us in every way. They were our protection, strength and world. They fed us and took care of us in their highest capacity. They spent their time, strength and wealth for our physical and mental well-being. They were our first teachers who guided us and showed us the path towards success and happiness. Without them and their kindness, we wouldn’t be here as we are now.
Let’s dedicate some time from our lives to them, paying our respects and showing our gratitude for what they have done for our well-being and success.
Let’s take care of them now as they took care of us then, and it is one of our prime responsibilities.
Let’s help them to be stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually, and it is what they need most when they get older.
Let’s be available for them now as they were available for us then, and it makes them happy and feel safe.
May our parents be free from physical and mental difficulties.
May our parents live longer and be in good health!
May our parents be well, happy, and peaceful!
