ලෝක බැංකු වර්ගීකරණය අනුව ලංකාව ඉහළ මැදි ආදායම් කාණ්ඩය දක්වා උසස් වී තිබෙනවා.

අලුත්ම වර්ගීකරණය සිදු කර තිබෙන්නේ පහත පදනම මතයි.

ඩොලර් 1,175 දක්වා - පහළ ආදායම්
ඩොලර් 1,176 සිට 4,635 දක්වා - පහළ මැදි ආදායම්
ඩොලර් 4,636 සිට 14,375 දක්වා - ඉහළ මැදි ආදායම්
ඩොලර් 14,376ට වැඩි - ඉහළ ආදායම්

අලුත් වර්ගීකරණය ඉදිරිපත් කරමින් ලංකාව ගැන විශේෂ සඳහනක්ද ලෝක බැංකුව විසින් සිදු කර තිබෙනවා.
