The first term at KIS ended on a successful note with most of our kids being able to receive commended reports for their highest academic performances through out the term.

Indeed Shimara ‘s appearance at the assembly was a motivation and an inspiration to all our young minds and a prestigious moment for all the past teachers that taught her while at school.

Avurudu Uthsawaya 2026 Celebration 🌞

Kandy International School proudly celebrated the Avurudu Uthsawaya yesterday, marking the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit.
The event featured a variety of traditional games, cultural performances, and festive activities, providing students with a meaningful opportunity to experience and appreciate our rich heritage and values. The celebration was filled with joy, unity, and active participation from both students and staff.

The school management extends its sincere appreciation to all teachers, students, and organizers for their dedication and effort in making this event a great success.

The Holy month of Ramadhan has brought the spirit of divinity in observing their fasting among Muslims.
The Islamic Society of Kandy International School brought forth an Ifthar Program (Breaking of Fasting)
Extending invitation to the other religious communities of our school.
Sharing this eternal experience altogether was such a spiritual moment for everyone. Also in addition children made presentations briefing on the importance and rituals of fasting to create awareness.Another successful event to create and spread brotherhood and harmony.

The 8th Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of Kandy International School was ceremoniously held on 28th January 2026 at the Esoft University auditorium Kandy. The occasion marked a significant milestone in the club's journey of Leadership, Service and Youth empowerment. The event was graced by a distinguished gathering of dignitaries: President of the Rotary Club of Kandy, Rtn. PHF Major Ravindra Tammita, Past President of the Rotary Club Kandy, Deshamanya Dr. Avanthie Karunarathne, Interact Zone Head PP Vinuki Jayasena, Asst. District Interact Chair PHF Rtn. Rtr. PP Jude Shanon, Rotary Advisor Rtn. Pumudu Amerasinghe, Principal of Kandy International School Mrs Hazeera Zavahir, Managing Directress Kandy International School Mrs Farah Feroze, Staff Advisor Mrs Mareena Sameem and the District Director PP Int. Umair Akram.

Their esteemed presence added dignity and honor to the ceremony, inspiring the young Interactors as they embarked on another year of Service and Leadership.
