🧪 Chemistry is best learned when students experience it!

Our Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Chemistry students recently carried out a Filtration Practical, developing not only their practical skills but also the understanding needed to tackle examination questions with confidence.

At The Mahesh Wijesekera Chemistry, practical work is an essential part of learning — understand the concept, perform the experiment, analyse the observations, and master the exam technique.

A simple experiment. A powerful understanding. 🧪

Today, our *Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Chemistry students* explored *solubility and saturated solutions* through practical work.

The experiment may look simple, but what students learn from it is far from simple. They observe, analyse, connect theory with reality, and develop the scientific thinking needed for the examination.

With 15+ years of teaching experience, I believe Chemistry should be understood, experienced and applied — not simply memorised.

Building strong foundations today for confident results tomorrow. 🎓⚗️

Chemistry teaches us that change is not always the end of something. Sometimes, it is the beginning of a stronger transformation.

In the classroom, I don’t just teach Chemistry. I teach students to question, understand, think and believe in what they are capable of achieving.

Every lesson is a reaction. Every student is a possibility. And every transformation begins with the right catalyst.
