On 11/02/2026, a workshop was conducted for Advanced Level students by the Commerce Club under the theme The Holy Month of Ramadan: Training for Students’ Discipline, Responsibility, and Self-Control.”

The resource person for the event was Ash-Sheikh Abul Kalam Azad,Senior Psychological Counselor of the Mercy Educational Institute, Puttalam, who provided valuable guidance to the students.

This workshop served as a great motivation for the students’ personal development and moral growth.

We celebrated Sri Lanka’s 78th Independence Day with deep pride, gratitude, and national spirit at our school. The celebration reminded us of the priceless freedom earned through sacrifice and struggle, and the responsibility we carry as citizens of a sovereign nation.

A special morning assembly was organized by the Grade 13 Commerce Club students, during which the national flag was ceremonially hoisted, symbolizing unity, courage, and hope for the future.

The event was enriched with inspiring speeches by the Principal, teachers, and students, reflecting on patriotism, harmony, and the duty of the younger generation to protect the values of independence.

A truly memorable moment was the special address by our school student Hasan Jungir, the Minister of Student Welfare of the Western Province Student Parliament, whose words encouraged leadership, service, and love for the motherland.

(05.09.2025), the Commerce Club students distributed and displayed stickers in all classrooms, featuring the sayings of the Prophet ﷺ on social unity.

This initiative was carried out with the aim of instilling the Prophet’s ﷺ teachings in the hearts of students, while spreading a message of harmony and compassion throughout the school.

World Creativity and Innovation Day – April 21, 2025

On this special day, we celebrate the power of creative thinking and innovation to shape a better future for our communities and the world. In honor of this occasion, the Commerce Club is organizing a **Q&A Competition** to encourage your innovative ideas and critical thinking.

We invite students from **Grades 10 to 13** to participate. Each grade will answer a unique question tailored to their level:

**Grade 10:**
*How do we reduce polythene usage in our school to protect our environment?*

**Grade 11:**
*How would you improve your academic results, and what support do you expect from the school to achieve it?*

**Grade 12:**
*As students, what steps can we take to protect the physical resources of our school?*

**Grade 13:**
*What effective measures can be taken to improve student attendance in our school?*

**Rules & Guidelines:**

- Only the **first 10 responses per grade** will be accepted.
- **Duplicate or identical responses will not be considered.**
- The most original and creative answers will be selected, and **winners will be announced by the Commerce Club.**
