CADD Automation

AutoDraw is a new custom AutoCAD program that automates the Drawing of Cross Sections, Calculation of Cut & Fill areas, and Preparation of Quantity Sheets. It will be highly helpful to speed up the surveying, designing, drafting, and quantity surveying works of civil engineering projects that involve earthworks. AutoDraw is almost similar to the new AutoCAD tool and it runs in AutoCAD main menu, AutoCAD Ribbon Tab, and AutoCAD Tool Bar as shown below.
AutoDraw is developed using Visual Basic 6.0 and MS Excel is used as a component to facilitate the preparation of the CS Design Data Sheet and Quantity Sheet. Most programs developed to facilitate the drawing of LSs and CSs were built with traditional programming languages like Auto LISP / Visual LISP or VBA which supports AutoCAD customization. AutoLISP/Visual LISP programs are not user-friendly, and it doesn’t provide any security for the programming codes. As AutoDraw is developed using Visual Basic language and hence, it will become a very sophisticated and user-friendly program giving an unbelievable speed with high security.
