ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ උපාධිය (බාහිර) Bachelor of Information Technology External Degree Programme ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ එය කොළඹ සහ මොරටුව යන විශ්ව විද්‍යාල දෙක මඟින් පිරිනමනු ලැබේ.

මෙම සටහන, කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට අනුබද්ධ,කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ පරිගණක විද්‍යාලය (UCSC) විසින් පිරිනමනු ලබන BIT පිළිබඳ පැහැදිලි කිරීමක් සපයයි.

කෙටි කාලීනව (වසර 3) ඉහළ රැකියාවක් සඳහා, ඕනෑම අභ්‍යන්තර (A.L/Undergraduate) ශිෂ්‍යයෙකුට සෑම විටම කිසිදු ගැටළුවක් නොමැතිව මෙම උපාධිය හැදෑරීමට හැකිය.

ඔබ ඕනෑම විෂයධාරාවක් ඔස්සේ අ.පො.ස උසස් පෙළ හදාරා, සමත් නොවුනා නම්, ඔබට තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණය පිළිබඳ පළමු මූලික විභාගය (Fundamentals of Information Technology - FIT) සමත් වී එහි සාමාර්ථය සමඟ BIT සඳහා අයදුම් කළ හැකිය.

අන්තර්ජාලය ඔස්සේ Virtual Learning Environment හරහා, ඔබට පාඨමාලා සඳහා සියලුම විෂයයන් ගත හැකිය. එම නිසා රැකියාවක නියුතු අයෙකුට වුවද මෙම පාඨමාලාව නොනවත්වා කරගෙන යා හැක.

පළමු වසර සම්පූර්ණ කරන විට ඩිප්ලෝමා සහතිකයද (DIT) සහ දෙවන වසර සම්පූර්ණ කරන විට උසස් ඩිප්ලෝමා සහතිකයද (HDIT) සහ තුන්වන වසර අවසන් වූ විට උපාධි සහතිකයද (BIT) මෙහිදී පිරිනැමේ.

වාර්ෂිකව සහතික ප්‍රදානය කිරීමේ උත්සවය සහ උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය පැවැත්වෙන එම අවස්තාවන්වලදී DIT , HDIT සහතික සහ BIT උපාධි සහතිකය ප්‍රදානය කෙරේ.

උපාධිය හැදෑරීමෙන් පසු, මේ මඟින් දෙවසරකින් Masters Degree කිරීමේ හැකියාවද ඇත.
