On 14th July, the Butterfly Enrolment Ceremony was held at Jaffna College, where 46 Grade 2 students were officially enrolled as Butterfly members. The event was graced by the Principal. The Special Guest was Mrs. Neela Tharmakulasingam, Mullaitivu District Commissioner, while the enrolment ceremony was conducted by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Kiruba Sivarajah, National Trainer. The enrolment was also supported by Mrs. Athisayathasan Gnaneswary, Division Commissioner. The Butterfly members were trained and guided by Mrs. Susanthan Dhevatharshini (Primary Supervisor), Mrs. Esther Narmadha Antony (Twinkle), Mrs. Thushyanthan Shobana (Twinklet), and Mrs. Sumanthan Majintha (Twinklet). The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the 46 young Butterflies as they officially began their journey in the Butterfly movement 🦋🦋🦋🦋

On the 2nd of July 2026, the Jaffna College family came together to celebrate and honor Rev. P. Thevamithiran as he concluded 35 years of devoted service to the college. His journey from student to Vice Principal reflects a lifetime of faith, dedication, and unwavering commitment to education. Through his wisdom, humility, and compassionate leadership, he has touched countless lives and left an enduring mark on the college community. Though he retires from his official duties, his legacy will continue to inspire all who follow in his footsteps. With grateful hearts, we thank him for his exceptional service and pray that God grants him abundant blessings
