தைப்பொங்கலை முன்னிட்டு 2023–2024 கல்வியாண்டுக்கான மாணவர் ஒன்றியத்தால் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட பொங்கல் விழா இன்று (15.01.2026) சித்த மருத்துவப் பீடத்தின் அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீ சித்தி விநாயகர் ஆலய வளாகத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
இந்நிகழ்வு சித்த மருத்துவப் பீடத்தின் பீடாதிபதி அவர்களும் மாணவர் ஒன்றியத்தின் பெரும் பொருளாளரும் கலந்து கொண்டதன் மூலம் மேலும் சிறப்புமிக்கதாக அமைந்தது.❤️🌞🌾

The Thai Pongal festival, organized by the Student Union of the 2023–2024 Academic Year, was held grandly today (January 15, 2026) at the Arulmigu Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple premises within the Faculty of Siddha Medicine.
​The occasion was further honored and made significant by the presence and participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine and the Senior Treasurer of the Student Union

இன்று சித்த மருத்துவ மாணவர் புதிய ஒன்றியத்தின் ( 2023/2024 ) சத்தியபிரமாண நிகழ்வானது உத்தியோகபூர்வமாக நடைபெற்று முடிந்தது

The oath-taking ceremony of the new Siddha Medical Students' Union (2023/2024) officially concluded today.

கார்த்திகை தீபத்திருநாள் 🪔

The Department of Gunapadam, Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna organized a meaningful Plantation Program on November 26th, 2025, aimed at raising public awareness about the vital importance of plants in our lives today.
We were honored to have the Department of Forest - Jaffna join us in this initiative, making it a truly collaborative effort for environmental conservation.
Our talented medical students brought the message to life through engaging awareness programs including dramas, speeches, and poems highlighting the significance of plants in modern times.
As part of our commitment to a greener future, plants were distributed to all participants, and the Forest Department generously contributed 200 plants to the community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success! Together, we're planting seeds for a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow.
