Inter-House Kids' Athletic Meet at Jaffna John Bosco’s Vidyalayam: A Day of Sportsmanship and Skill
February 24, 2025 – The vibrant grounds of Jaffna John Bosco’s Vidyalayam came alive as the school hosted its much-anticipated Inter-House Kids’ Athletic Meet for students from Grades 3 to 5. The event was a grand celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition.

The meet featured a series of events designed to enhance basic athletic and sports skills, providing young athletes with an opportunity to showcase their talents. From sprint races to fundamental agility drills, the students demonstrated impressive enthusiasm and determination.

Each house participated with great energy, cheering for their teams and displaying remarkable sportsmanship. The competition was intense yet friendly, with every child putting in their best effort. Teachers and parents applauded the young athletes for their dedication, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness and teamwork in overall development.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where the most outstanding performers were recognized for their achievements. The principal of John Bosco’s Vidyalayam commended all participants, highlighting that the real victory lay in learning, participation, and the joy of sports.

With this successful event, the school reinforced its commitment to holistic education, ensuring that students not only excel in academics but also grow in confidence, discipline, and teamwork through sports.

தாய்லாந்து நாட்டில் நடைபெற்ற “Asian Schools Chess Championship 2024” 07 வயது பெண்கள் பிரிவில் இலங்கை நாட்டினை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தி விளையாடிய யா/சென் ஜோன் பொஸ்கோ வித்தியாலயத்தில் கல்வி பயிலும் ஜஸ்விகா பிரசன்னா அவர்கள் Rapid போட்டியில் 4/7 புள்ளிகளையும் Blitz போட்டியில் 5.5/9 பெற்று ஆசிய அளவில் Rapidல் 15ம் இடத்தினையும் Blitzல் 9ம் இடத்தினையும் பெற்றதோடு இலங்கை சார்பில் நாட்டிற்கான இரண்டு வெண்கல பதக்கமும் பெற்றுள்ளார்.
