✨ Prefects Investiture 2025 ✨

On 06.11.2025, the students of Gampola Zahira College were proudly presented with their Prefect Badges at the Prefects Investiture Ceremony 2025.

This year’s theme, “Embracing Leadership for an Inspiring Tomorrow,” reflected the commitment, discipline, and dedication of our newly appointed prefects as they step into their roles with confidence and responsibility.

🌿 "Let's Reduce the Use of polythene" 🌿
An Awarenes program organized by the Primary Section of Gampola Zahira College was held on 03.11.2025 under the theme “Let’s Reduce the Use of Polythene.”
The young students actively participated to raise awareness about protecting the environment and promoting eco-friendly habits. 💚🌍

In a heartfelt act of unity and devotion, the Gampola Zahira College Masjid has been renovated and beautifully restored by the School Friends 80–93, in collaboration with the Old Zahirians.

The project included the restoration of the Masjid premises, the construction and illumination of the steps leading to the Masjid, and the planting of 1,000 coffee trees, a visionary step to ensure long-term financial sustainability for the Masjid.

This noble initiative stands as a shining example of faith, friendship, and community spirit where past pupils came together to serve a sacred cause and give back to their alma mater with gratitude and love.

The reopening ceremony was held on 26th October 2025, following the Asar prayer, under the distinguished patronage of Mr. I. A. M. Afsan, Principal of Gampola Zahira College, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, and Mr. V. Maheshwaran, President of School Friends 80–93. The event was attended by several dignitaries, old boys, staff members, and well-wishers who joined in prayer and celebration.

2025 ඔක්තෝබර් 15 වැනි දින, ගම්පොල සහිරා විද්‍යාලයේ පොලිස් සහ ආරක්ෂක ශිෂ්‍යභට ඛණ්ඩවල ශිෂ්‍යයන් හට සහතික පත් ප්‍රදානය ඉතාමත් උත්කර්ෂවත් අන්දමින් විද්‍යාල පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්විණි. 🎖️🇱🇰

මෙම අවස්ථාවට විශේෂ ආරාධිතයින් ලෙස ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ පොලිස් අධිකාරී එරික් පෙරේරා මහතා, මේජර් චන්දික හේරත් මහතා සහ මූලස්ථාන පොලිස් පරීක්ෂක රණසිංහ මහතා සහභාගී වූ අතර, පොලිස් සහ ආරක්ෂක ශිෂ්‍යභට ඛණ්ඩවල ක්‍රියාකාරීත්වය හා නායකත්වය වර්ධනය කිරීම විද්‍යාලයේ අභිමානය ඉහල නංවන ලදි💙✨
