My journey with Lyceum International School began in 2006 when I joined as an Assistant Teacher. Looking back, joining Lyceum was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
During my decade-long journey with Lyceum, I was blessed with numerous opportunities for growth and development.
Within those ten years, I progressed from being an Assistant Teacher to becoming the Principal of Lyceum Nuwara Eliya, while also coordinating with several branches of the Lyceum International Schools Network.
The ten years I spent at Lyceum were filled with invaluable experiences, learning opportunities, and meaningful relationships. I was fortunate to work with dedicated teachers, supportive staff members, and inspiring leaders who contributed immensely to my professional and personal growth.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the founders, Mr. Mohan Lal Grero and Mrs. Kumari Grero, whose leadership and vision have transformed the lives of countless individuals. They are among the most remarkable leaders I have had the privilege of knowing.
I am especially grateful to Mrs. Kumari Grero, a truly exceptional mentor and a compassionate leader. Her guidance, encouragement, and belief in my potential played a significant role in shaping my journey from a classroom teacher to a member of the leadership team within the Lyceum Network.
As I reflect on this decade of service, I do so with immense gratitude and pride. The experiences, lessons, and opportunities I gained at Lyceum have shaped me into the educator and leader I am today, and for that, I will always remain thankful.
