The session was conducted by 𝑴𝒔. 𝑹𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒌𝒂 𝑾𝒊𝒋𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒚𝒂 from the Faculty of Business, 𝗟𝘆𝗰𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, together with Ms. Sharlene De Chickera, Manager – School Outreach, Lyceum Placement. 💼🌱

The workshop provided valuable guidance on self-discovery, career planning and personal growth. Our students enthusiastically participated in the activities and discussions, making the session lively, meaningful and enjoyable throughout. 👏😊

🌸🙏 Pre-Primary “Bodu Bethi Gee Saraniya” Held at Zeus Hall 🙏🌸

The Pre-Primary section proudly held the “Bodu Bethi Gee Saraniya” today at Zeus Hall with great success and devotion. ✨

The little ones sang beautiful devotional songs 🎶 and performed confidently with lovely acting skills. Dressed in adorable white half sarees, sarongs and shirts 🤍, they created a peaceful and traditional atmosphere that touched everyone’s hearts. Their performances wonderfully reflected respect and devotion towards Buddhism. ☸️🌼

A heartfelt thank you goes to all the Nursery and Pre-Grade teachers 👩‍🏫, coordinators and the Headmistress, Ms. Kanchana Wijeratne, for their dedication and hard work in organizing this successful programme. 💐 Special thanks also to everyone who helped behind the scenes to make the event a success. 🙌

This wasn't just any tournament—it marked a historic milestone as the first-ever official tournament entered by a girls' team from Lyceum Gampaha. In a true test of grit and skill, our girls stepped onto the field to compete in a boys' tournament, proving that talent and determination know no gender.

Held across the Arena Persues Ground and Upali Gunaratne Ground, our team showed immense heart against tough competition:

* Victory against President’s College, Mahara: A stellar performance led to a win by 5 wickets!
* Grit against the Giants: Strong showings in matches against St. Peter’s College, D.S. Senanayake College, and Marapola Maha Vidyalaya.

Every run scored and every wicket taken was a testament to the hours of hard work put in on the nets.

Our scouts recently traded their gadgets for clay at the Weerangula Clay Based Village and Clay Craft Training Centre!
On the 10th of April, 18 participants from Lyceum Gampaha Scouts Group took part in an immersive training programme conducted under the expert guidance of the National Craft Council. From mastering traditional techniques to feeling the magic of the potter's wheel, it was a day dedicated to creativity, patience and honouring our local heritage. 🎨🙌
Beyond just making pottery, our scouts developed essential practical skills and a deep appreciation for the artistry of local craftsmen. It was an educational experience that was as much about building character as it was about building clay structures!
