අද කාලේ බොහෝ වෙළඳසැල්, වෙබ් අඩවි, සහ සමාගම් සිය සේවාවන් Cloud මත පදනම් කරගෙනයි ක්‍රියාකරන්නේ.
නමුත්, 2025 ඔක්ටෝබර් මාසයේදී Microsoft Azure සහ Amazon Web Services (AWS) සේවා දෙකම ලොව පුරා බාධාවකට ලක් වුණා 😱

⚡ 1. AWS Outage – October 20, 2025

AWS සේවා බිඳවැටීම සිදුවූයේ DNS (Domain Name System) දෝෂයක් හේතුවෙන්ය.
මෙම DNS යනු අන්තර්ජාලයේ “ලිපින පොතක්” වගේ දෙයක් — එය විනාශ වුනහම, සේවාදායකයන් එකිනෙකට සම්බන්ධ විය නොහැකි වෙනවා.
ඒ නිසා Snapchat, Reddit, Fortnite වැනි අඩවි කිහිපයක් තාවකාලිකව ක්‍රියා විරහිත වුණා

“Internet address book එකක් mix වෙලා — server එකට server එක හඳුනාගන්න බැරි වුණා!”

☁️ 2. Microsoft Azure Outage – October 29, 2025

Microsoft Azure හි Entra ID කියන login පද්ධතියේ configuration change එකක් හේතුවෙන්, බොහෝ පරිශීලකයින්ට login වෙන්න බැරි වුණා.
ඒ නිසා Outlook, Teams, Azure Portal වැනි සේවාවන්ට පාවිච්චි කරන්න බැරි වුණා.
Microsoft විසින් පද්ධතිය rollback කර login system එක නැවත ක්‍රියාත්මක කළා.
