OBITUARY NOTICE
“In Loving Memory of a Life Defined by Dhamma and Service”
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother,
Mrs. Karuna Kodithuwakku
A life lived in accordance with the sublime teachings of the Dhamma, she was not only the pillar of our family but also a prominent and dedicated social worker in the region. Her selfless service to the community and her virtuous life have left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
We, her family, wish to express our deepest gratitude to the Board of Directors, Staff, and Students of Minco High School and the College of Fast Track Learning (CFTL), as well as our contemporaries and friends from the University of Kelaniya, fellow professional lecturers, our dear friends, and the residents of the area for their overwhelming support and expressions of sympathy during this time of grief.
Funeral Arrangements
Remains lie at: Her residence, “Sirini”, Poddala.
Final Rites & Cremation: Friday, 27th February 2026 at 4.00 p.m. at the Baddegama Public Cemetery.
May she attain the Supreme Bliss of Nibbana!

Through cultural performances, speeches, and patriotic activities, we honored the bravery and sacrifice of our forefathers and reflected on the values of unity, peace, and national pride.
Let’s continue to nurture responsible, forward-thinking youth who will carry Sri Lanka toward a brighter and more prosperous future.

දක්ෂ ගුරුවරුන්ගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ නිවෙස් වැඩ (Homework) සහ අමතර ඉගෙනුම් කටයුතු සඳහා වෙන්වූ විශේෂ කාලවේලාවන්.
ක්රීඩා, සංගීතය සහ විවිධ සමිති සමාගම් හරහා දරුවාගේ කුසලතා ඔප්නැංවීමට ලබාදෙන අවස්ථාවන්.

🎯 පෙර පාසල් වයසේ සිටම artificial intelligent (AI), robotics , computer science ඇතුළු නූතන ලෝකයට අවශ්ය දැනුම.

The first day of school for Grade One at Minco High School, Galle was full of joy. The young students arrived with big smiles and excited hearts. They wore new uniforms and carried new bags.
The teachers welcomed them warmly. The children met new friends and saw their bright classrooms. They were a little nervous at first, but soon they were happy and laughing. It was a wonderful and happy start to their school life. ❤️💐
