So that was fun - lots of fear, very much fear, a lot of fear, and then strangely enjoyable. Flying through the air at what feels like a million miles an hour, with your brain telling you, “You’re going to die,” and having to convince yourself that you are “probably” going to be fine. And then, all of a sudden, probably 10 seconds after you jump from the plane, intimately strapped to someone you met 20 minutes ago, it’s all over, and you’re on the grass—the beautiful, safe, amazing grass. Although even after all is done, you’ve still got about a million liters of adrenaline running through your body that might take a month to drain out.
What the hell—thank you, Kate, for this incredible opportunity to meet God, say hi and bye, and then come back to Earth. If you haven’t had a chance to to do this, I’d say do it.
