2026 වෙසක් සතියට සමගාමීව විද්‍යාලයේ දුදරුවන් අතර පැවැත්වු ගද්‍ය රචනා පද්‍ය රචනා චිත්‍ර නිර්මණය සහ වෙසක් සුබ පැතුම් පත් නිර්මාණය , ආදී තරඟ සඳහා සහභාගී වු දුදරුවන් වෙත සහතික පත් ප්‍රධානය අද (28) විදුහල්පති තුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විණි.
Certificates Awarded to Students in Vesak Week Competitions
​A certificate awarding ceremony was held today (28) under the patronage of the Principal to honor students who participated in various competitions organized in line with Vesak Week 2026. The competitions included prose composition, poetry writing, art creation, and Vesak greeting card design aimed at inspiring spiritual and creative thoughts among the children of Ataragalla.

සමස්ථ ලංකා පළාත් තරඟ ජය අතරගල්ලට
සමස්ථ ලංකා නර්ථන මධ්‍යම පළාත් තරගාවලියට ඉදිරිපත් වු අතරගල්ල දුදරුවන් එම තරඟාවලියේ පහතරට කතරගම මල් අස්න ප්‍රථම ස්ථනය සහ පහත රට දුම්මල පදය දෙවන ස්ථනය දිනා ගන්නා ලදි. මේ සදහා දරුවන් පුහුණු කිරීම විද්‍යාලයේ නර්තන විෂය භාර ආචාර්යණි ධම්මිකා සෙනවිරත්න මිය විසින් සිදු කළාය.
Ataragalla Students Triumph at All-Island Central Province Dancing Competition
​Students of Ataragalla Model School secured top achievements at the All-Island Dancing Central Province Competition. The school team bagged 1st place in the Low Country Katharagama Mal Asna category and 2nd place in the Low Country Dummala Padaya category.
​The talented students were trained and guided by the school’s Dancing Teacher, Mrs. Dhammika Seneviratne.

ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තුව
ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදය , ආණ්ඩුක්‍රමය යන සංකල්පයන් මතු පරපුර වෙත ගෙනයාමේ අරමුණින් සංවිධනය කළ ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තුව 2026 දැනුම් වත් කිරිමේ වැඩසටහනක් ඊයේ (09) මප/වත්/ කෙන්ගල්ල මහ විද්‍යාලයේ දී පැවැත්විණි. වත්තෙගම කලාප අධ්‍යාපන කාර්යාලය සංවිධනය කළ මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා අප විද්‍යාල නියෝජනය කරමින් ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තුව භාර ආචාර්යණි පුෂ්පා රත්නකුමාරී මිය ඇතුලු දරුවන් සහභාගී වුහ.
Student Parliament
​A student parliament awareness program for the year 2026 was held yesterday (09th) at CP/Wat/Kengalla Maha Vidyalaya, with the aim of passing down the concepts of democracy and governance to the next generation.
​Organized by the Wattegama Zonal Education Office, the program was attended by students representing our school, along with Mrs. Pushpa Rathnakumari, the teacher-in-charge of the Student Parliament.

5 ශ්‍රේණිය දරුවන්ගේ පරිසරය කදවුර.

තිස්පස් වසක රාජකාරි දිවියෙන් ඉසිඔුලන රංකොත් ගුරු මාතාව
වසර තිස් පහක ගුරු ජීවතයෙන් හෙට (08) දින විශ්‍රා ගන්නා ප්‍රියන්ති රන්කොත් මහත්මිය ඇගයීමට ලක් කිරිමේ වැඩසටහනක් අද (07) දින අතරගල්ල කනිෂ්ඨ විද්‍යාලයේ දී පැවැත්විණි.
තම සේවා කාලයෙන් දස වසරක් අතරගල්ල දුදරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් සේවය ලබාදීමට ඇය කටයුතු කළාය. ප්‍රාථමික අංශ ගුරුවරියක ලෙසත් ප්‍රාථමික අංශ ප්‍රධානී ලෙසත් රංකොත් ගුරු මහත්මිය තම සේවය පාසල වෙත ලබා දුන්නේය. පහ ශ්‍රේණිය දුදරුවන් ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගය සමත් කරවීමේ වගකීමට ද තම සේවා කාලය තුළ කැපවූ ගුරු මාතාවකි. අද දින පැවති ගුරු උපහාර වැඩසටහන ඇගෙන් ශිල්ප සතර ලබාගත් දුදරුවන් විසින් සංවිධනය කොට තිබිණි. ඇගේ වියදමින් විද්‍යාලයේ ප්‍රාථමික අංශය සදහා බෆල් යන්ත්‍රයක් ලබාදීමට ප්‍රියන්ති රංකොත් මහත්මිය කටයුතු කළාය.

Teacher Mrs. Rankoth Retires After 35 Years of Service
An appreciation program was held today (07) at Atharagalla Kanishtha Vidyalaya to honor Mrs. Priyanthi Rankoth, who is retiring tomorrow (08) after a 35-year teaching career.
​She dedicated ten years of her service to the children of Atharagalla, serving the school as both a primary school teacher and the Head of the Primary Section. Throughout her tenure, she was a dedicated educator who took on the responsibility of guiding Grade 5 students to pass the Scholarship Examination. Today's teacher appreciation program was organized by the students who learned under her guidance. Furthermore, Mrs. Priyanthi Rankoth generously donated a sound system (baffle machine) to the school's primary section at her own expense.

රුහුණේ ගණිත වැඩමුළුව
අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ මෙවර ගණිතය විෂය සදහා පෙනී සිටින සිසුන් ඉලක්ක කර එක් දින ගණිත වැඩමුළුවක් අද 07 දින අතරගල්ල කනිෂ්ඨ විද්‍යාලයේ දී පැවැත්විණි. රුහුණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ඉංජිනේරු පීඨ සිසුන් විසින් මේ සදහා සම්පත් දායකත්වය ලබා දෙන ලදි.

Ruhuna Mathematics Workshop
A one-day mathematics workshop targeting students sitting for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination this year was held today, the 7th, at Atharagalla Kanishtha Vidyalaya (Atharagalla Junior School). Students from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ruhuna provided the resource support for this event.
