While Practicing, Studying and Instructing in Karate, on the back of his mind his dream and vision was to create, propagate and introduce to the world, a Style of Martial Arts Solely Sri Lanka in Origin, our own Sri Lankan Style. Hassen Khalid Organized, Conducted and Participated in Three Spectacular Martial Arts Exhibitions which became very popular amongst many Martial Arts enthusiast and Audiences. Namely, THE IRON FISTED WARRIORS, AN EVENING IN THE WORLD OF MARTIAL ARTS PART 1 & 2. He and his students also acted in a Sri Lankan Sinhala Film Named ANUSHA, Produced by Stanley De Silva and Directed by Dayananda Rodrigo in Karate-Martial Arts Roles. In the mid seventies and in several awareness programs, Grand Master M. Hassen Khalid with his ambition and dream to create Sri Lanka’s own Martial Arts, has travelled in search of knowledge, Skills and Prowess to a Large number of countries to and has met foreign Martial Arts Instructors and taken the best of the techniques in their countries Martial Arts styles and with his experience, training, skills and prowess has introduced Fei Quan Do International (Way of the flying fists) in 1986. From the birth of Fei Quan Do in 1986, thousands of students have joined the club. Amongst them are men, women, school children, Executives in companies, Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Businessmen, etc.. Also amongst them are from diversified nationalities including Chinese, Indians, Pakistanis, Maldivians, Italians, Papua New Guineans, Burmese, etc.. Our Students consists of Sinhalese, Muslims, Tamils and Christians which promotes unity, friendship, good relations and goodwill amongst all. Fei Quan do Classes are Conducted by Grand Master M. Hassen Khalid, Chief Instructor M Nuzry Khalid (5th Dai Black Belt), Deputy Chief Instructor M Nuzky Khalid (5th Dai Black Belt) and very ably assisted by all the Black Belt Instructors. And our classes are conducted in English, Sinhalese and Tamil Languages for the benefits of the students. Every four months grading tests are held and graded for all colors of belts. Which include Orange, Green, Blue, Grey, Purple, Brown and Black belts. Successful participants are awarded certificates, Belts, Gold Medals and Trophies. A large number of Black belters have passed out during this period. Students who are from the age of 6 years to 55 years are eligible to join the classes. Anyone who wishes to join the classes can come personally during the class hours mentioned above or call 077-4386249 for further information. Although our classes are done in groups, individual attention is given to each and every student. Also if a student joins one training center, he or she is eligible to come to all the classes in both the training centers without any additional charges except for the fees they pay in the joining training center.
