25 students from the Astronomical Society of Devi Balika Vidyalaya participated in the "Tiangong Dialogue" Talk With Taikonauts in Tiangong Space Station on 20th April 2023 organized by the China National Space Administration.
Students who are interested in astronomy and space science from 14 countries around the world joined the programme where they were able to ask questions and talk with Taikonauts of "Shenzhou 15".
Also the ambassador of Republic of China to Sri Lanka honourable Mr. Yang Yin participated on on the event and as an encouragement, he gave gifts to the children.
In the programme students were informed about Tiangong Space Station and the day to day life of a Taikonaut.

Hypatia '20 Inter- School Astronomy Quiz Competition was successfully held on 24th February, 2020 with the participation of island wide school astronomy societies.

Guest of Honour : Mr. Yasith Lakmal Ramawickrama, Lecturer at Sri Lanka Planetarium

Annual night sky observation camp of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, organized by the Devi Astronomical Society and conducted by Nalanda College Astronomical Society was held successfully on 28th February 2020 at the school premises.

'20 Inter school Astronomy Quiz competition organized by Devi Astronomical Society was successfully held on 24th February 2020.
