In Loving Memory of Ranjani Wijesinghe Madam
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved past teacher, Mrs. Ranjani Wijesinghe, former Sectional Head of the Commerce Section and past President of the Past Teachers’ Association of D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo. She was the mother of Rajitha Sandaruwan (Batch of 2009) and the beloved wife of the late A.M. Gunapala, former Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Sri Lanka Transport Board.
Her remains will lie at No. 95/1, Rampart Road, Ethul Kotte, Kotte from Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 7:30 PM.
The Pansukulaya will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM, followed by the cortege leaving the residence at 4:00 PM for cremation at Beddagana Cemetery at 5:00 PM.
May she attain the Supreme Bliss of Nirvana.

His unwavering dedication and leadership continue to inspire generations of 'D.S. Puthala,' leaving behind an enduring legacy that resonates deeply within the DS family.

The trophy remains in its deserving place! ❤️

28 years hence, our beloved Aravinda de Silva crafted a magnificent innings, steering Sri Lanka to victory in the Wills World Cup 1996.

Both he and Hashan Thilakarathne are proud alumni of Mother Senanayake. 💛🖤💛

The Night Watchman smashed a remarkable double century! Fantastic performance, Daham! Scoring 204* runs off 225 balls, including 16 boundaries and 12 sixes, against St. Joseph College 1st XI Cricket Team.

Congratulations to the Shakespeare cast of D.S.Senanayake College, for emerging as champion in the 47th All Island inter school Shakespeare Drama Competition organized by the YMCA and the Rotary club of Colombo north.

We would also like to congratulate Amman Sangani for winning best supporting actor and Puthun Waidyaratne for getting an honorary mention.
